Full Moon in Capricorn - July 10, 2025
Taking care of responsibilities, ways to be grateful for Saturn
The Full Moon is on Thursday, July 10 at 3:36 pm CDT in 19° Capricorn
This Full Moon puts the focus on responsibilities and those tasks and chores that cannot be put off. Saturn, the ruler of Capricorn, is at a stationary point on July 13th as it turns retrograde at 1° Aries. This week and next is not the best time to start new projects or add extra things into your current schedule.
Small Wins
As I was reflecting on the Saturn station point the other day, I overheard this quote as a family member watched a golf match on TV. The reporter interviewed a golfer who had been struggling with his play lately. They asked him how he keeps an even keel when this type of thing happens. He said he's been learning to recognize small wins in his game. How profound and perfect for Saturn. During this Saturn week, stay aware and appreciate the small wins in your life.
Saturn and Neptune
Saturn is quite close to Neptune at this time. One keyword for the Saturn Neptune conjunction can be "quicksand", that loose wet (Neptune) sand (Saturn) that dangerously sucks you in and is hard to escape. So in real life, it might not be something deadly, just more like projects, even fun ones, that use a lot of your time with few results. Focus on your highest priorities for the best outcomes.
Gratitude for Saturn
It can be helpful to look at the best parts of Saturn. A key phrase I like is "spiritual discipline" which combines Neptune and Saturn in a “Capricornian” productive way. Center in on the heart of your practice, even if it's only for a few minutes each day.
We can also be grateful for Saturn's structure and foundation. Respecting and attuning to our elders and ancestors as the foundation of our physical life here on Earth. Saturn rules the bones which give structure to our bodies. Saturn also rules the skin, the protective boundary of our bodies. The walls of our homes symbolize the constructive nature of Saturn.
Coming up:
